Thank you all.

We are planning on a gate and a driveway into our parcel. How far from the road edge should the gate be. We would need enough to get a car or truck off the road, but not so far that a thief could park there unobserved while picking the gate lock. So what would be a good distance.

LOL!! NO Pit bulls for me either, I've read too many sad stories from the mainland! A yappy little terrier maybe, or a chahouahoua!!
