That isn't the question. The Earth has had warming and cooling periods in the past. No one is asking how humans caused those, because they weren't around then. The current change is alarming and coincides with greenhouse gases being pumped into our atmosphere at a rate that has never been seen before.
Why people can't understand that we are destroying our atmosphere is beyond me.
For windplr - water is a greenhouse gas. CO2, carbon dioxide, is a much stronger greenhouse gas, you need much less CO2 than water to block IR. Methane is even stronger.
Let's just get this straight. Those molecules in our atmosphere do not stop sunlight getting to the Earth's surface. What they do is prevent the re-radiated infrared light from getting out into space. That energy stays here and warms up our atmosphere and oceans.
Our planet has been experiencing some disturbing climate changes in the last few years. Given your posts, I think you might just want to explain what is causing them, including scientific references including peer reviewed papers and then maybe we can have a proper discussion.
