Well we have a cleared spot on our lot for a home now! Progress no matter how slow is progress right? So it is a beautiful lot and Gene is updating our web site to include a few pics. Thing is it is relatively level and once the growth and all was moved it is pretty smooth rock. So how would one attach a post and pier type foundation to a black ice rink type setting?? Any ideas or theories on this issue would be welcomed! Mahalo Mella L

Oh PS was only on island for one week and have to tell you I met some of the most genuine, friendly and helpful people in that one week. People are so happy to engage in conversation, or to just smile in passing, be it at the grocery shopping, or the check out clerk at Walmart, or asking a question at the farmers market, or in the nursery, even had to get gas and on island you do not do your own gas and the attendant was so pleasant you just can't imagine that happening anywhere else on earth. It is just very heart warming! I think we all made a good decision to move to the BI and be a part of the aloha and pass it on in all we do. It even sticks with you when you return and you pass it around in your hometown and some people look at you askew, but some smile and visit back!!
