Here is an interesting article with plenty of bickering between Sen Ruderman and Mr. Ha regarding this islands GMO issues.

Would Mr. Ha be against the proper labeling of all mmj products too?
It would have been interesting to see both of these two (Ha and Ruderman) get a state awarded chance to operate mmj dispensaries. Pretty sure they would manage, grow, and sell their mmj products in different ways, which does make me wonder if the actual thousands of mmj patients would care or have a preference.
This article showed me that It could be much worse than having someone like Mr.Ha's team run one of our islands 1st mmj dispensaries. Must be very hard to compete these days in the farming business with practices like this profiting in Hawaii. Some might consider GMO or mansanto techniques to be ethically better than this way of human trafficking, jmo.
