Sleepers and One Hit Wonders

I personally have been involved in too many serious topics lately and want to lighten up for a bit.

I like my rock and roll but my ears have been in a rut for a while. Radio does nothing for me. So I am inviting people to post some suggestions to listen to.

I don't want to hear about your favorite Eagles song!

I want to hear about bands or artists I never heard of. Or the One Hit Wonder bands that produced really good albums. There's a lot of stuff out there that lost the race for the DJ's ear.

Here's three from me:

John Astley - any album - clean, sharp, buff rock and roll

The Proclaimers - had one hit - "500 miles" but they can be proud of their whole album.

J.D. Souther - Top notch songwriter who never made the top forty on his own.
