I drove past the scene yesterday on my way out of town. Police had Kawailani blocked off at Hwy 11 & Kileauea, at least 10 police cars throughout the cordoned off area. Maybe more police as some cars were unmarked. It wa probably after the fact, but the situation still looked tense.
