there are in fact a number of connectivity issues that are being addressed by the Action Committee and the County
It's nice that they're trying.
County is forbidden by law from providing any funding or capital improvements to "privately owned" roads. If they somehow get past that issue, the required "minimum roadway standards" will make any connectivity project far too expensive to contemplate.
Compare/contrast: I recently drove the improved section of 40th (to the Pohaku intersection). It's amazing what OLE was able to accomplish for a "mere" $180K.
