Maybe just swayed by how easy it is to omit facts to make a point?
A point and a fact such as:
What good is it for Hawaii Island to allow farmers to grow GMO papayas, if they can't be exported to countries around the world, including all of the European Union, or sold on the shelves of local natural food stores? Because many GMO opponents can't differentiate between a roundup sprayed soybean and a non roundup sprayed papaya.
Of course papaya farmers have an adequate market at the present time, but they wouldn't if GMO opponents had their way, like they do in the EU.
The moon kind of surprises me sometimes. I’ll be out at night and I’ll see a nice moon, and say, “Hey, that looks good.” Then I’ll say, “Oh sh-t, I went up there one time!” Kind of surprises me. It’s like there are two Moons, you know—the one that’s usually around, and then that one. - Michael Collins, Apollo 11 astronaut
