Maybe the County workers, Puna schools, and other's should consider a half day tomorrow? Unlike Eselle which came in after dark, This Hurricane Madeline may be dangerously close to the Puna coastline during rush hour on Wednesday afternoon. It may only take one bad accident, fallen tree, or power line on our highway to block or make travel in and out of Puna extremely slow and difficult.
Could or would the new emergency route or road from Nanawale to PP be considered an option during emergency times such as a Hurricane?
