In consultation with the teachers at Pahoa Elementary we picked this time frame to allow them the time they feel they need to plan the event. They know their kids and as they approach the holiday season there are a number of things going on that take time. Planning the gifting for a large number of children and shopping and wrapping is a big effort.
So the schedule is established to that purpose.
I do want to thank all those who have donated to date and those who are about to. For many of these small children Santa's Workshop will be their Christmas.
All you Punawebbers are doing a good thing.
The school is hoping that some of our donors will attend the event. I would encourage that and hope some of you do so.
