In Keaau town we went from getting HPR-1 clear most tor the time to having HPR-1 less clear & HPR-2 not even strong enough for auto=scan pick-up...& since We have always (ALWAYS) used the news as our wake-up alarm & I like to keep the bedroom computer free ( computer =WORK) And the weaker signal fades more while driving, even in Hilo (not a computer option)
I dunno, we have always supported public broadcasting, East Hawaii has been teased with HPR-2 for so long (at least 7 years of thinking it was sometime soon), and when it is finally here, it seems we have split-strength between the 2 channels, rather than what we were told all year would be stronger signals for both...
