Jacaranda Tree

Jacaranda is not native, and I recently saw a TV show on home rehabbing where a professional landscaper (in Los Angeles) removed three of them because the roots are invasive. He didn't say not to use them, just to keep them well away from foundations and water/sewer pipes. I guess they would be OK for large lots, and I agree that they are beautiful in bloom.
