Perennial Peanut chokes out almost everything once it's established.
Until the pigs come and rip it up, anyway.
Using Roundup and/or a string trimmer, grind down all the existing weeds. Cover everything with cardboard, then spread a layer of mulch on top. Plant the peanutgrass starts. Over the next 6-12 months, pluck out anything that's not the peanutgrass. Eventually, it grows into a thick mat.
