raise the gas tax on Oahu...
Makes sense to charge the motorists who will be using it in the future...


Good suggestion.
Even if the motorists don't use HART, they will (allegedly) benefit in seeing a reduction of drivers on Oahu roads, reducing congestion, travel time, etc. It would be like the private toll roads on the mainland, you pay for an easier, faster commute.
