Fellow Board Members,
I have waited for 2 days to get an answer from board members as to why this board assignment topic needs to happen before the regular February meeting and I have had no response from any of the 5 directors calling for the meeting. The bylaws are clear that a special meeting can be called if there is business that can’t wait until the regular scheduled board meeting. There is nothing about board assignments that need to take place before the regular February meeting.
I am never available on Friday evenings and since this special meeting has nothing on the agenda that needs to be handled before the regular February meeting I consider this to be an improper use of the special meeting language in the bylaws and I will not be attending the meeting on February 9th at 6pm.
