Okay, I'm not gay and I just would submit that the reason that anyone would do well in Puna is that they be open-minded. Well, maybe gay people have a headstart on that just by the nature of their choices, or their ability to forge ahead in spite of all too popular judgments. So it would stand to reason that they would do well with a "live and let live" attitude.
I don't care if someone is gay, straight, lesbian, purple, pink or green. If they are open to possibilities and the beauty and healing qualities of Hawaii, they are drawn to it...and I would be honored to be their neighbor.
