Power, Telephone, cable service, internet access, satelite service. I would like to discuss how these utilities are brought to the home or the best ways to be brought to the home. overhead, underground, etc.
Provisions will need to be made at the time of site preperation, whether it be in the form of clearing or trenching. I've read overhead provides a titerope for critters to gain access to a roof. Does a clear path between poles have to be provided for the power/phone/cable company ? As in do the lines usually follow driveways?
power, I have seen an unpermitted listing, mls 165493 Fern Acres, with what is described as a permanent power pole, with a meter enclosure installed as well. Also I've been told of others that people have seen driving throughout the subdivisions. Is power delivered as long as an approved location is made available such as these poles?
