I started with a Hawaiian Telcom. They might be better now, but they had terrible service, it took 18 months of begging to get them to send someone out to check the line when I had an intermittent problem. They had been “testing” the line, & when I finally asked them, testing from where, they admitted it was from Honolulu. I convinced them that might not be as accurate as they’d like me to believe, as my internet was still not working as it should.
Now I have Spectrum, I’m mostly happy with them. They initiate repairs fairly fast. Even after Iselle they were up and running quicker than I expected. My landline with Hawaiian Telcom after Iselle took over a month to repair, and they didn’t want to credit me for lack of service, because they said the date of credit starts when the outage is reported. I asked how they expected me to call them to report the outage when all their phone lines were down....
At a White House meeting in June, President Trump reportedly told Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that “I remember Pearl Harbor.”
