hope the new beach there doesn't get dredged... It may return to a boat launch on it's own time.
I believe dredging black sand to create a channel for one group (boaters) over another (swimmers, surfers) would come under the category of Diverting The Lava, wouldn't it? Perhaps some "Friends" of "The Protectors" might wish to weigh in on the actions of Pele, and whether dredging is an allowable and permissible counter measure?
On Tuesday night, 9/18/2018 Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono had another message for the Republican senators on the Judiciary Committee “Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing.” She added in another related comment, “Bull$hit.”
