the reform needs to happen from the top to the bottom of Hawaii's State government.
You're right of course. The State and County are dysfunctional and did throw a wrench in the TMT's machinery, but I wanted the focus on this thread aimed at what I considered the (slightly) worst offender - - OHA. There's only so many hours in the day.
I have no idea why you keep promoting someone that has no experience and then suggest that they would be a good leader
I've told you why. I believe she will represent the vast majority of Native Hawaiian people, not a vocal minority. She has a clarity of purpose, and can see that cathartic emotional outrage will not provide the homes, schools, doctors, and jobs the Hawaiian people want.
Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease. OHA has been greasing the wheels since 1978, and not much more. Time for a change.
