(almost) no lilikoi for me

There is a tale going around that only carpenter bees can pollinate lilikoi- that is not entirely accurate. Many varieties of lilikoi (some would say most varieties) cannot be pollinated by honeybees. You'll have to look at your flowers and see if the honey bees can reach both sexes of the flower. If they cannot, then they will not make good pollinators and only the larger carpenter bees will be able to pollinate them well. You can put dead ohia in with the lilikoi to attract the carpenter bees.
