As the pool doesnt splash!
From letter today to our reps
I talked to aquatics directors office today. Pahoa pool repair went out for first bid and got none. Its in second bid phase, the vendors has to be approved, than they MIGHT let me know whats the time line after that. It could be somewhere between a couple months and a year??????!!!!! The best info they could give me. I asked how come the pool people dont know what happening ?.
She said they didnt need to know???. I said since they are the interface betweeen the upset public (for 8 months of no water recreation)and aquatics, maybe it would be good for them to know. She said oh we just got the money, I said BS. The mayor just would not use the emergency funds to get the pool fixed because he just doesnt care that the poor kids and and handicap persons cant use it. And i cant get any info from the Mayors office.
Thanks again for all the help
Aloha
