Wow, that was fast. Within 5 minutes of hanging up the phone with them my internet quit. I rebooted router.
New speed:

u/l 284.6
On the gigabit plan I had, the max upload speed was 100 and the highest I ever got was 98. So if uploading is your thing, one of the newer plans might be what you are looking for.
In other words, on the new plan my d/l speed is a little less than half of what the gigabit plan actually delivered, and the u/l speed is 3 times faster. Though, I don't really have a use for the higher u/l speed I guess it might be better for gaming.
ETA: Tried some browsing, downloading, Roku, gaming etc. Literally cannot tell the difference between gigabit and 300 level of service. Did you know that there is a Ned Flanders themed metal group called Okilly Dokilly? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1pDThp...3oStpCKKBA
