The new Luquin's location housed Chefs for Hawaii during the eruption beginning early May. This non-profit prepared tens of thousands of meals to evacuees. The parent organization, World Central Kitchen rented the space from Sal for three months and used it until August. Substantial work was done to the kitchen and the whole thing needed to be reinspected; it wasn't just about the urinal.
