Any info from anyone on the quality of surf? The old Pohoiki had about 4 separate breaks, at least 2 would commonly break if the waves were only 2-3 feet.
This meant there was frequently something to surf and also that there were safe conditions for beginners or people of intermediate surfing ability. (The left point in front of the breakwater would generally break only on a 6-foot-plus day.)
