A regrettable event, especially for the old-timers who discoursed with Kalakoa for years. Makes me wonder how many Punatalk posters, especially old-timers, know each other in person.
I know some commentators from the astronomy community are acquainted, perhaps several posters who serve on some of the subdivision associations. Otherwise, it seems, not so much.
Interesting that most of us could pass each other on the street, or farmers market, perhaps even engage in a superficial conversation, and be unaware we've been talking on-line.....maybe for years.
