But a STEM teacher's first role is to teach STEM subjects to their students, and, I hope you agree, to do as well as they possibly can in that area. Ethically speaking, I would say you've done your students a disservice and your argument defending yourself is ridiculous. Your students deserve all the opportunities they can get to better themselves in the sciences and your argument is now drifting towards claiming it's unethical to do so. Sorry, I don't buy it.
