Besides the bickering, i believe most of us here are empathetic to the keiki bc we already know what they might be missing. Even as they not.

So help on ground level, mentor the local kids. Introduce yourselves to your neighbors and see if the kids want to get involved in some project your doing.

Its fun and genuinely rewarding for all.
