through the whole park?
Roughly through all of HPP. 10th Street as a dividing line is admittedly a generalization, but it’s often the point I see clouds break, and blue skies appear when driving toward the ocean. Hilo side of HPP, Kaloli Point area, 5th Street might be closer to the dividing line as Kaloli Point juts out into the ocean farther than the rest of HPP. Land causes moisture in the trade winds to rise, until it cools and condenses, then rains. That would happen around 5th Street on the Hilo side of the park. It’s not a big difference, but one I’ve noticed when driving or biking toward the Shipman Beach hiking trail.
