UFO sightings on the rise

I'm still curious about the title of this thread. What evidence is there that "UFO" sightings are on the rise? There is certainly more nonsense being posted on social media these days, it's pretty much available to everyone in the developed world, but that does not equal more sightings. It just means more conspiracy theorists can post more conspiracy theories.
