I watched the entire live broadcast of the county council meeting yesterday. I disagree with your interpretation of "current " County costs. The topic was discussed, not completed & has been "recessed" until the next meeting.
If any of you sincerely want a clear picture of the true costs incurred, by which branch and who will ultimately foot the bill (county or State = us taxpayers ),please watch. You will also learn how postcards and new consultants are taking the money that could be helping our felow displaced Puna residents,
residents who are still struggling with trying to get back into their homes, (remember them?)

And see for yourselves, how bees, yes we need them, yes they matter, yes, the proposal before the county council deserved the unanimous vote it received , can garner so much more time than these other 2 topics were allowed,
please take the time to view the meeting yourselves and
notice how few of you taxpayers were there to testify.
