Don't know the answers to your questions myself.
I will say that I see used Harley's and the like in the paper fairly often so you shouldn't have too much trouble.
What to bring and sell is a tough one really. If it is trade related you may need it if it isn't a fairly common item.
Sounds like a good life you got sailing and looking for marinas to moor in.
