I can’t verify the information which follows, other than to say it’s from my sister, and she and her husband are privy to more info than most. We’ll know more after the 9 AM press conference.
For what it’s worth, from my sister:
A neighbor just called me who knows a lawyer
at White House meeting today.....she said stuff may happen with banks so
make sure have full tank of gas and large ants of cash on hand. May
have something to do with ability to use credit cards.

I would think in a crisis credit cards would be the preferred method for transactions rather than money, it’s certainly cleaner. So I don’t fully understand the implications of a restriction (if there is one.) But perhaps there will be limits imposed on credit card transactions? To prevent people from charging their cards up to the limit? Healthcare related expenses alone could do that.
In any case, fill up your gas tank, that’s a good idea.
