My family and extended family have had MANY babies born there, surgeries, strokes, sepsis, and they saved my daughter's life from MERSA. There hasn't been one complaint from all of us in 32 years. Only once did something happen that I'll always be angry about. I had a serious reaction to an IV antibiotic (levofloxacin) and the two interns that checked out my terrible shoulder and arm pain told me "it must be arthritis". Now I have permanent shoulder and bicep injury because those "doctors" didn't know it could be caused by the drug, and they should have stopped giving it to me. I'll never get over being mad and my arm won't let me! That wasn't the hospital's fault, it was the two "intern" girls and their boss and everyone else sure heard about from me. Bottom line: we all love HMC, they are family to us. I wish I were Oprah and could give them millions of dollars.
