While true, some of us at least get to live for a while? Hard to fault fatalism and comforting religious beliefs (afterlife, reincarnation, etc) as necessary coping mechanisms for a lack of knowledge, control, and options in the face of an uncaring universe and an unfolding disaster. Still tragic to hear though...
