I had one built five years ago, but they seemed to “find me” as I was doing some really heavy landscaping.
Must have had a scout or something. His crew did a good job but took a few weeks to finish. Don’t pay in full at the start. Pay for the supplies and then percentages as the project completes.
I sort of kept in touch with the leader, but he was always changing phone numbers.
Hint: When getting a bid, you need to be VERY specific about what you want and when you want it done. Make sure they understand and maybe sign off on it. Plan on doing quite a bit of negotiation.
The initial “quote” on my wall was going to be $22,000, but when he saw the look on my face, the price came down. After some discussion, I got the price down to $7000.
