Thanks very much for that, kalianna. The NY Times article is discussing the same paper randomq mentioned, just so we're clear on that. The skeptism reported in the NY Times article is similar to mine, but as I mentioned, it's something that should be studied and it's a good example of exactly how the scientific method should be applied. Hypothesize -> test -> criticize -> modify -> test again -> criticize. If it survives that and other groups can replicate your findings, then it might actually become a theory!
