A new twist to the Parade. Our newlywed Grand Prize winners ($300) were sweet and generous and dontated the prize money back to next year's parade. Very, very nice of them.
Our cash flow is very tight on these events. We have been considering shutting down the annual parade if there is not enough community support to sustain it. Not fair to run it on the backs of 3-4 people. But it looks like we scraped by again and will do a 2007 parade. If you or anyone have ideas on how to improve community participation or fund raising, pass it on.
