Yep, been there, and still the fact is in times like the one we're going through now one does get a sense of the good parts of such a restrictive law. I suspect that without the act we'd be far more foreign dependent than might be a good idea in times of military conflict. And still, yeah, we pay through the nose because of it.

So, which would we rather have.. security or lower prices for goods? I would propose a third choice.. face the issues of global warming head on and stop burning fossil fuel. Now.
