Haven't found anything telling about it, but how does this price increase affect the minimum charge for grid tied solar systems that supply more than they use?
Our minimum charge was $20/mo when we installed solar.
That was later raised to $25.
We rarely pay more.
Our rooftop solar installation provides us with almost more than we consume.
Extended cloudy periods do run us a bit short.
We have the option of adding a few more panels and inverters, thenĀ adding batteries and cutting free from the grid.
Jumping for an EV might eventually make it a good move.
