fwiw of the 20 or so different lizards in Hawaii, all non-native...... only the Jackson and a handful of lizards on Oahu can actually eat an adult coqui if they wanted to...
the prob is most Big Island Jackson live in temps Coquis dislike so they dont see ea other often...
The Giant Day Gecko Phelsuma madagascariensis grandis can easily get 1 foot long, they can eat them but they dont see them because they live on Oahu
Green iguanas can eat them too they are big, but they dont see them because they are on Oahu
same with the giant nearly 1 foot long Pitbull Tokay Gecko (Gekko gecko), but they dont see them because they are on Oahu
same with the giant Cuban Anole, they can eat birds! but they dont see the coqui because they are on Oahu
etc. etc.
