I'd imagine right now that those wanting to fly to or from Hawaii are more interested in the costs of flights coming down rather than whether or not they have to wear masks. And finding affordable hotels on the island is harder than ever.
PS. Just did a price check comparing the Naniloa to a similarly priced hotel in CA about 10 miles from Santa Barbara. Both hotels came in at about $700 for a 4-night stay starting 16th May. The Naniloa added $310 in taxes and fees, the CA hotel added $84.
