And every job has to be a "living wage" now. $15/hour employee costs closer to $30/hour after including employer share of payroll taxes, workers compensation insurance, etc. Having only 3 employees is going to cost nearly $100/hour. Assuming the business is only open 8 hours a day that's $800 just in labor. And then the mall rent... That's how we get to the $20 sandwich.
