Thanks, Ccat, very interesting article. Not having a conclusion in the paper threw a bit of a curveball to me, but it was a good read. I'm not a geologist but the behavior of Kilauea and Mauna Loa really asked a lot of questions about how they may or may not be connected. It's good to see more research on this. My own opinion is that there is a connection.
