I would be curious if there were any letters to the editor, or articles opposing construction of the road to the summit of Mauna Kea, or the telescopes at that time. Or what technologies and infrastructure specically overwhelmed Native Hawaiians? Did they oppose any new technology? Infrastructure? Expansion of the electrical network, phones, tv, etc?
