Saw my first whale today!! Spouting about the same distance as the one Carey saw. First saw him poke his head up...then a little further north he spouted twice and went under...I had binoculars so saw him dive down and saw his hump...THEN THE FLUKES!
He did that two more times before I couldn't see him anymore...about 5pm today off Kahakai.
