We absolutely must open up The Punaweb Pub! my manao, I nominate you for manager! If capitalism is what is denying us our right to free beer, then I, for one, am open to your alternative solution, whatever that may be as long as it's been proven to work somewhere and we don't all have to wear grey clothes.
I agree! But for free beer I'd be willing to wear grey. Though the reference isn't lost on me:
The two times I went to West Germany when that's what it was called, we never went to East Germany. My friend went and I asked how it was, and he said "grey". What do you mean? He said, "Everything is grey. The buildings, the skies, the mood, the people, their clothes. Everything is grey."
I have a chunk of the Berlin wall. I have relatives that were there when it fell. It's a good reminder that capitalism is about building walls to keep people out (when we used to have one), and communism is about building walls to keep people in. I couldn't imagine living under a system where there is little difference between "citizens" and "prisoners". One side of my wall chunk is brightly painted, the other is completely grey. So I know what direction the chunk faced.
