Developer sues lady after they accidentally built on her lot, someone pooped on floor
#58
"Seller completed K-1| No guessing which lot you are purchasing!"

Surveys expire after 6 months. Unless it moves quick there could be some guessing!

I use an iPhone app called ACRES. With the free version, it will tell me the property ID# of the property I'm at and even show the borders on a map. Obviously the lines aren't going to be EXACT with a phone GPS but the accuracy can be as good as ~15 feet if one lets the phone scan the sky for a good 20-30 seconds. It's FREE and it would have saved a developer from putting a house on the wrong lot. That's pretty damning considering that the developer not only wasn't willing to pay for a survey, they weren't willing to use A FREE APP?

The paid version of the app will tell who owns the property and other information, but cheapskates like me can get all that information from the tax assessor database for free. There are hunting apps that do the same thing but come with less features in the free version and unneeded features (for me) in the paid version.
