Developer sues lady after they accidentally built on her lot, someone pooped on floor

The developer now has to pay demolition costs, and the woman’s attorney fees.  If he had taken responsibility for his own mistake and gave the lot owner the house, it would have been his least costly option.

No, it's the contractor who has to assume these costs.  And that's the part that really rubs, because it was the developer who could have taken what was a reasonable offer early on and moved on from it, but instead he stirred the pot until it boiled over.

It ain't over yet, but I don't see the developer losing anywhere near what he should be losing.
