I enjoyed your post about Harry and the Painted Church, and the volcano movies. I’m a big fan of anything Werner Herzog.
As to what Harry may or may not have said, I think we all know that people change their mind based upon a situation, a change in a situation, or what type of equipment and people power becomes available. People also read the room and might phrase their comments as more in favor or less in favor of a proposal, depending on the makeup of the crowd. They will definitely be more willing to speak their mind in a small group, comprised of people they know or work with. Just last week I overheard a small group talking, they noticed I overheard, then one glanced over at me and noted “and now we’ll have to kill him!” Unfortunately they know where to find me, fortunately they were joking. I hope!
